Tried to burn her dress one day. Wm Evans, Llanerchymedd.

Physical/Mental State at Examination: Very feeble, old and decrepit, lymphatic temperament. Senile emaciation and arcus senilis. Eats her food well, bowels acting involuntarily. Heart action normal. Emphysema and bronchitis. She was brought to the workhouse at Llanerchymedd about four months ago from Llangefni. She was then obliged to be carried into the workhouse. Her habits there were very filthy. The reason that she was sent here was that they could not find proper room and treatment in the workhouse. Used to be a hard drinker for years.

Current Diagnosis: Alzheimer's Disease (F00.2)

Mind completely gone. Very filthy in her habits. Eats food ravenously.

Sleeps well at night.

Dec 20 - Has gradually been getting weaker.

She keeps to her bed now and has done so for the last fortnight.

1876 Jan 12 - Gradually becoming more feeble.

Jan 19 - Has been gradually sinking since last note and refusing her food and passing everything under her.

Died this morning.
