Case Notes

1905 Feb 13 - A slender and poorly nourished woman a little over medium height, with auburn hair and brown eyes. Teeth in upper jaw missing. She is rather anaemic but apparently free from any bodily disease.

She was somewhat excited on admission but is now quieter. She is very merry and good tempered but rambles a little in her conversation and altho she is able to understand and answer intelligently enough she is obviously not as she should be. She also tells me she has frequently seen the spirits of people she used to know and has heard their voices speaking to her. She eats and sleeps fairly well and should improve.

Feb 20 - Fairly rational but somewhat loquacious and excited. Mar 6 - Relapsed a few days ago and is now excited and decidedly rambling and has given up work and become untidy. May 3 - Since the relapse has improved steadily and is probably as well as she ever was. Discharged May 22nd 1905.
