Physical/Mental State at Examination: Poor health. Very large goitre, staring eyes, rapid pulse. Always a quiet steady young man, until he began taking an active part in the Religious Revival meetings. Some change was noticed a few weeks ago but he became very much mentally deranged six days ago and became unmanageable. There is no history of insanity in the family. His goitre became very much bigger the last six days, according to his friends who brought him.
