Physical/Mental State at Examination: Health good. Since his discharge 3 years ago he has been very well until a few weeks ago when he became very morose and began to threaten his parents. The only exciting cause known is that he has been attending all the religious revival meetings.

Current Diagnosis: Unspecified nonorganic psychosis (F29.0)

Case Notes

1905 Apr 29 - Patient is in very much the same condition as when admitted in Jan 1901.

General health is good. Mentally again suffering from Ordinary Dementia. Cannot or will not give any account of himself.

Very taciturn and inanimate. Will not apply himself to anything. Seems to have a grudge against his father.

Discharged relieved September 25th.

2nd July 1898 (No. 5404) with Melancholia ("dull and dejected in aspect and demeanour"). Discharged recovered 21st June 1899.

29th January 1901 (No. 5791) with a diagnosis of Dementia. The Medical Certificate reads:

He is morose and sullen. He is afraid of me and will not answer my questions, and he wants to go out of my sight.
