Patient's appearance is vacant, with paroxyms of excitement. He talks incoherently and constantly about religion, he keeps repeating verses with incoherent meaning. Has fits of crying, laughing and is at times violent and threatening.
Patient's brother, Llewelyn Parry, of Maencoch, Llanwnda, informs me that he is in the habit of causing disturbances at religious meetings held at the Welseyan Chapel Llanwnda, makes an unnatural gutteral noise and kicks the side of the pew. Has struck him once on his head and has taken against a younger brother and has attempted to cause him bodily harm.
