Case Notes

1920 Apr 11 - Very rambling and deluded. (Death certificate obscures much of the notes).

13 (copy) - Suffering from Senile Insanity. Memory poor, little idea of time or place, states that his age is about 24.

Has delusions of wealth.

Inclined to be noisy at times, has been very restless and thereby bruised his own ear.

Senile heart, degeneration of blood vessels, quite blind in one eye.

18 - Behaves well, does everything he is told, very simple, childish and confused.

25 - No change.

May 12 - A shallow ulcer on one ear - query epithelioma (see note re trauma above).

Dressed.

18 - In morning, early, suddenly became comatose with fairly stertorous breathing.

Cyanosed lips and extremities, oedema of legs had been present since admission and more marked now.

Died 2.30 pm.
