Physical/Mental State at Examination: Poor health and condition. She is an imbecile with some marked stigmata of degeneration. Poor intelligence. On admission she is rather restless and her general conversation and manner is silly and childish.

Case Notes

1920 May 28 (copy) - Suffering from Imbecility with Epilepsy. A woman of very low intelligence and no education. Inclined to be noisy at times and has had one epileptic seizure since admission.

Memory for recent events is very poor.

June 5 - Quieter and better behaved.

12 - isq. Better health.

July 21 - Dull and stupid.

At times she has been noisy. Oct 18 - Unchanged.

1921 Jan - Stupid, indifferent.

Seizures are not numerous.

Apr 8 - Suffering from acute tonsillitis.

19 - A large quinzy developed which has now burst.

She swallows all the discharge.

11 - There are now symptoms of acute pneumonia.

12 - Patient is critically ill.

13 - Died.
