She says that the house is full of murderers. Refused to take any food or drink for the last 24 hours. Very violent and noisy. She broke three panes of glass of the bedroom windows. Catherine Hughes, states that she was called by the patient into the house and on her entering the house she threatened her with a stick. That she was calling after people, asking them what she was to eat and wanted to go out in her night dress. Dr. Robert Owen, Penygroes, 4th July 1920.

1920 July 8 (copy) - Suffering from Senile Insanity.

In conversation she is very confused and cannot give any rational account of herself. Her memory is defective and she mistakes the identity of persons and places.

Since admission she has a tendency to refuse her food and is very restless at night.

15 - Restless, noisy at nights, obstinate with her food.

22 - Quieter.

Aug 5 - Becoming better.

Sept 1 - Very much improved. Nov 3 - Discharged recovered.
