Excited and restless; rambling in her statements; full of delusions and hallucinations, says some man is continually following her and comes to her window at night. She has also seen some man on her bed and there is also some peculiar smell in her bedroom. Incoherent. It is the white column, not 1 but 7.8.9 for the sake of Jesus of Nazareth. Miss N T, sister, same address: Talking and full of religious ideas to save souls and she must go away somewhere. Very queer in her talk. Dr. Corbet William Owen, Bangor, 8th Nov 1920.

Physical/Mental State at Examination: Fair health and condition. A talkative young woman, very pleased with herself. Says she is in excellent health. She appears to have delusions that someone is following her about and that an attempt has been made to poison her.

Current Diagnosis: Manic episode (F30.0)

Case Notes

1920 Nov 11 (copy) - Suffering from Ordinary Mania. She is exalted and talkative and states that she is quite well.

She has delusions that a certain man has been continually following her about, also that she has been poisoned by a woman in a café.

Her conversation becomes very disconnected and rambling.

18 - Still excited and talkative, same delusions.

25 - Unchanged.

Dec 5 - The same.

1921 Jan 2 - So far not improved. Apr 2 - Has improved a little but easily excited.

July 1 - Improving slowly. Regularly employed in the workroom.

Oct 10 (copy) - Improved and more rational in her conduct and statements. Still asserts that a man at her home was continually following her about in order to frighten her but she now very rarely refers to this matter.

Nov 7 - Discharged on trial.
